Biography

Founder of 2000 tons, Johnny Kühn was a live performer and songwriter in Hipjazz (later Hipcat). An early multimedia music project “Manolita” was born from a series of songs that served as a soundtrack to a comic album of the same name, written and drawn by Johnny Kühn.

The project received state aid from the Ministry of Culture and is now found and downloadable at:

For other electronic projects Johnny Kühn had a guest role in Psychopomps.

Songwriter and singer in collaboration with the guitarist from the Danish metalband Skagarack. Together they created the project, Northern Tribe. The project included the bass player and drummer from the old danish band Sneakers.

Over the past several years active as a web designer and graphic designer. Yet the music was never forgotten and in the usual work as a new media designer, music was created for company presentations, etc.

In 2003, Johnny Kühn created the ArtMusic project GaaHinter with visual artist, poet and musician, Helge Nordstrøm . GaaHinter released the self-finance album “The Dream Masters” based on an odyssey written by Helge Nordstrøm and Johnny Kühn. GaaHinter still exists and is workong on another album.
